Our
Programmes
The MEKE Programme is about working with rangatahi who may not engage with a normal school setting. We collaborate with The Eastern Institute of Technology and Te Kura o Te Aho Pounamu to deliver the New Zealand curriculum. Having smaller numbers allows rangatahi to have more one on one time in a comfortable environment and at a pace that is more suitable to them. Our aim is to prepare rangatahi for further education and employment opportunities at EIT in areas that they are passionate about.
The course runs for 17 weeks, while kai and transport are also provided. There are two entry dates per year:
-
February
-
July
We operate Monday- Thursday, 9am-2pm from The EIT Hub in Maraenui. If you believe our course could be of benefit for your child please send us an email and we will be in touch.
