FLIPT THE SCRIPT
My name is Kaea Niwa and I am 16 years old, born and bred in Napier. I have been a part of The Meke Academy for 3 months. My brand is Flipt the Script, we believe Life often hands us stories we didn’t choose—challenges, setbacks, or expectations that don’t align with who we really are. Our brand was born from the idea that you don’t have to be defined by those old scripts. Instead, you can flip the script—take control, break norms, and create a fresh, authentic path that’s truly yours. Our mission is to inspire confidence and boldness by helping people flip their story and stand out.
STREET SAVAGE
My name is Damien McErlich and I am 17 years old. I am from Napier and I have been a part of The Meke Academy for 3 months. My brand is Street Savage- for people who do their own thing and don’t care what others think. My brand mixes bold designs with stuff you can wear every day. Every piece shows confidence, attitude, and the energy of the streets. My mission is to empower rangatahi through Street savage. I create bold, high-quality streetwear that speaks to authenticity, individuality, and hustle. Street Savage exists to represent those who turn pressure into power, the ones who stay real, stand tall, and never settle. We’re here to break barriers, not just stitch seams.

PEDIGREE MADE
Hi, my name is Izayha Puhara and i come from a small suburb in Napier called Maraenui, where I was born and raised. My brand is PEDIGREE MADE the name comes from living in and being raised in a gang family. The name is important and is inspiring to me to make money legally and believing I can change the direction of my life no matter where we come from.
KSD- KEEP STACKN DAYS
My name is Manaki, I'm 16 years old and currently a rangatahi at the Meke Foundation. I created this brand to remind us that progress isn't built overnight. It's built one day at a time.
"I made this brand for the ones who keep showing up, even when no ones watching. For those chasing growth, healing, or purpose. Just stacking one more day, one more effort and one more win."
"KSD represents consistency, discipline, and the belief that even the smallest steps forward still count. I wanted to create something that can help remind me and others to keep stacking the days, small steps at a time.
"Every purchase supports the movement, a community of ranagtahi who refuse to give up, who keep pushing to be better and who choose discipline over doubt."
